Intro Video Project: Perspective Loop

 The prompt of this project was to create a 30-45 second long video with the prompt:  "End where you begin – Turn a perspective inside out." I had a few initial ideas, but I quickly was inspired by quick edits that I've seen on tiktok. I was thinking of writing a full narrative story to it, but realized that I was thinking too hard about it. Just. Keep. It. Simple. I went into Adams 216 (a larger classroom at Westmont College), and set up my phone to record myself sitting, as if I were observing class. I took three angles of it, and then edited it all in Premiere Pro, emphasizing the usage of masking.  Here is the LINK of the video. Enjoy!

Generosity Performance

 The prompt for this project was to: "Create a prop that will aid you in performing a 5-7 minute performance exploring the idea of generosity. " I explored a lot of different ideas, but I wanted to hone in on something that could bring in the deep interests of the world of entertainment in each individual in the class.  To start, I sent out a bulk email to each individual in the class, asking what their favorite movie and favorite song was. After gathering that info, I downloaded a LOT of clips from YouTube from each movie I was provided, and each song. I then started to edit each clip, in time to the song provided, creating an "edit." For some films, I kept the dialogue audio, where I used an AI Vocal Separator, so I could get clean vocals/dialogue and strip it from the original score of the movie.
